PDXScala, the Portland, Oregon Scala users group, has recently formed and will be holding an informal gathering Wednesday, Nov 18th, at the Lucky Lab Brew Pub on Hawthorne Blvd. More details, including a map, are available here.
We will be meeting at 7PM, but as this is a very casual event, just show up when you can. Hopefully this event will give people a chance to hear what others in the area are using Scala for or to find out more about why you might want to be using it. We will also discuss plans for future events.
